すべき？すべきじゃない？解答例
1) Your child is invited to a party but the invitation only says when it starts - you need to ask at what time the party will finish?
ごくストレートに「何時に迎えにきたらいいですか？」と聞きたいなら
What time should I pick up my child?
What time do I have to pick him up?
というのもあっていますが、Should とおなじ「すべき」という意味合いのhave toでも、この文章だとなんとなく「一番遅くてもゆるされるギリギリの時間ていつ？」というようなニュアンスがでてきます。
pick up [人] ＝ pick [人] up どちらも正しい言い方です。
pick upというように動詞＋副詞（前置詞もあり）で、一つの意味をなしているのは、phrasal verbといい、英語ではよく使われています。
Situation 2) You are waiting for a train on the platform where smoking is prohibited. You see a man lighting a cigarette. What would you say?
ここは禁煙ですよ！と言いたい場合：
You shouldn’t be smoking here.
You mustn’t smoke here.
どちらも正解です。最初にExcuse me,と付け加えると少し丁寧な言い方になります。
ただ、実際にこういうシチュエーションで、注意することはなかなか勇気がいりますね。
Situation 3) One of your friends asks you whether there is a particular place in Japan you would recommend visiting.
You should visit ◯◯ because.......
You must go to see △△ because......
You must experience XX because.......
このような感じで、なにかをおすすめするときにも、shouldやmustは便利です。
shouldやmustでおすすめした後は、なぜそれがおすすめなのか、という理由まで含めて教えてあげてくださいね。
becasue I'm from there. (私の出身地だから）とか
because it's absolutely beautiful!（すごく綺麗だから！）とか、
難しくなくていいのですが、何かと理由をつけるのが英語の基本です。
